Robert Basic, owner of the well-known german blog basicthinking.de thinks about selling his creation. Basic Thinking is not just a blog — it’s the german blog. It’s one of those rare german blogs that really became successful over the years.

So why does he wants to sell it? Well, his major intention is to start something completely new, without the responsibility that comes along with being one of the most important german bloggers and without that kind of pressure that arouses such a label as basicthinking.de.

I can understand Robert’s thoughts and, for the case he really sells basicthinking.de, I wish him all the best for his a new project, although the german blog scene will lose one of it’s biggest and best contributers.

I guess, we will have to become used with stories like “cat’s flatulence”, as that’s what people seem to blog about these days (thanks to unwesen for this nice wording ;))
