Bloodbath will release their new album “The Fathomless Master” on 6th of October via Peaceville Records. Bloodbath have been founded by Dan Swanö (Drums) [Edge of Sanity] and Mikael Åkerfeldt (Vocals) [ex-Opeth] in 2000 and has been jestingly called Swanö’s Allstar-Project sometimes. In the meantime Dan Swanö left Bloodbath, and Åkerfeldt quit with Opeth and returned this year as the frontman after a two year break. Besides those both well known guys there also Anders ‘Blakkheim’ Nyström (Guitar) [Katatonia], Jonas ‘Lord Seth’ Renkse (Bass) [Katatonia], Per ‘Sodomizer’ Eriksson (Guitar) [Genocrush Ferox, 21 Lucifers], Martin ‘Axe’ Axenrot (Drums) [Nifelheim, Opeth]. In the abscene of Mikael Åkerfeldt no one else than Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy) adopted the microphone.

Finally, the swedes will also place some gigs across germany this december. As I’ve been pretty jealous of the un|we|sen, who joined the guys gig in the Brixton Academy of London this april, i will get my chance too. Supporting acts for the gigs aren’t set yet, but locations and dates are already final:
